AQW 49074/22-27 Written question to the Minister of Education
To ask the Minister of Education to detail any (i) surveys distributed; and (ii) other data collection methods used to date, as part of the Special Educational Needs/Disability Reform Agenda Outcomes Framework 2025-2030 to gather information from (a) parents and carers; (b) school staff; (c) children and young people.

Answer
A review of data sources is underway to establish where potential indicator data already exists. These sources include existing survey data from children and young people, and administrative data on the SEN system. Where there is no current source, the data will be gathered from parents and school staff through annual surveys. The first of these annual surveys issued to parents and schools on 8 June 2026.
