Answer
This issue is an operational matter for Translink. I have sought the requested information and have been advised as follows:
Translink has confirmed it has spoken to Ms Michelle Guy MLA and has provided the information below:
Translink have no current plans to deliver a new bus shelter in the village of Dromara. A bus shelter application form was sent to her office. Once this is completed and received, Bus Operations will undertake an assessment. Each individual shelter request is considered by Bus Operations on its individual merit. Any installation of a new bus shelter by Translink, in partnership with the Department, will be subject to operational requirements, physical site survey, land ownership, statutory consents including planning approval, consultation (DfI Roads Service and PSNI) and the availability of capital funding.
