Answer
Under the Education Authority’s (EA) Home to School Transport Flexible Fleet pilot, the EA invested in a single seven-seater vehicle during 2023/24 to trial the use of such vehicles in transport operations. The initial pilot produced positive outcomes, leading to an expansion in 2024/25 with the purchase of ten additional vehicles.
The Council for the Curriculum, Examinations and Assessment (CCEA) is currently developing a digital adaptive assessment tool for literacy and numeracy. Computer Adaptive Assessments (CAA) is a voluntary pilot available to all schools and provides free, online adaptive assessments that generate formative and diagnostic data, enabling schools to target literacy and numeracy support effectively at both pupil and class level.
