AQW 30279/22-27 Written question to the Minister of Education
To ask the Minister of Education to detail (i) how many incidents have been recorded of schools failing to correctly complete a S.A.1 form to de-register a pupil, in the last five years; and (ii) any communication sent to schools on this matter.

Answer
Neither the Department for Education (DE) nor the Education Authority (EA) have records of schools failing to complete SA1 notifications. All schools receive notification from the Department on an annual basis of the requirement to complete SA1 forms when removing a pupil from the school register.
