To ask the Minister of Education whether all pre-schools that will be part of the Pre-school Education Standardisation Programme have been given a timeline of when they will move to standardised hours.

It is not possible to provide a timeline for individual settings at this stage, other than those that I have announced will transition to offer at least 22.5 hours pre-school education provision per week from September 2025.

It will take a number of years for all pre-schools to transition to the standardised session length. The speed of transition will largely be dependent on the resources available from the Executive at each stage, as well as the circumstances of individual pre-school settings.
